Halloween funnies with the Streets

I wanted to share our Halloween story for everyone:

As many of you know, we live in a neighborhood heavily populated by young families and a plethora of hooligan children. One Way -- for the first time since I've known him -- got really excited about scaring (scarring?) children for Halloween this year.

His original intention was to put on the Jason of Friday the 13th fame's mask, put dry ice along the outside of the garage, and jump out with chainsaw revving. This idea was laid to rest on a quick neighborhood query discovered another chainsaw artist down the road.

My idea was to be a shower murder victim. I wrapped myself in a shower curtain, wet my hair, and added stab wounds and plenty of blood.

With One Way in the Jason mask, I had him stand 15 feet behind me holding a knife. When I opened the door, the kids would see me and get their candy. Then, I would step to the side so they can see my killer. We got plenty of very scared kids. One Way stood there, knife held high, not moving. It was great.

So that's how the night went on ...

Then, we got bombarded by kiddies. About eight or so crowded the doorway, hands diving in for candy.

One kiddie dropped his candy inside the house. As he reached inside to pick it up, I said excitedly: "Watch out! Jason's in there; he killed me!"

Kiddie looks up and nonchalantly replies: "Oh, well, Jason's cleaning the floor."

I look behind me. Sure enough, there's One Way on his hands and knees, in the Jason mask, cleaning the floor.

"Well, he's scary good at cleaning," was all I could think to say.

So much for spooking that group of kids!
